Warhammer 40,000 Open Day Review and a look to the future!

The Warhammer 40,000 Open Days have just passed at Warhammer World on the weekend of 25th & 26th November, and it was a busy weekend!

Many hundreds of people gathered to meet up with members of the Citadel Design team, White Dwarf writers, Army and ‘Eavy Metal painters, along with members of the Forge World and Specialist Games team. They took the time to chat and ask questions, while also seeing exciting previews of new models, sketch books, Work in Progress models, and on Sunday we held our Golden Demon painting competition with over 300 entrants!

Now obviously we can’t sum up two absolutely amazing days in just a few lines of text, but we can show you some pictures of the winner of the Slayer Sword at our Golden Demon painting competition. The Blight Stalker by David Soper.

More pictures from our Golden Demon Painting Competition will be added to our Golden Demon website in the coming weeks. A link to the site can be found here:

Want to see some of the previews and models which were on display? The Warhammer Community Team were in attendance and have a run down on some of the models here:

Although the Warhammer 40,000 Open Day is now over fear not if you missed out on this event because we have another exciting event coming soon!

Warhammer World?s New Year?s Open Day is a celebration of the amazing Citadel and Forge World models we?ve produced over the years, as well as giving you a chance to look at what is to come. It?s a fantastic way to start your year!
